Joy Womack on her debut in a principal role on the Bolshoi stage

I recently reported on Joy Womack’s debut on the Bolshoi stage with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy.

Joy Annabelle Womack’s debut, on 6th November, as the first American ballet dancer to perform a principal role with the Bolshoi Ballet Academy on the Bolshoi Stage was as Lise in Grigorovich’s production of La Fille Mal Gardee. Mario Labrador, also an American, danced the role of Colas.

I’m delighted to bring you a photograph taken at the end of the performance.
