Repetto is such a legend I’m devoting an entire article to it’s wonderful treasures!

For starters, just take a look at some of their outstanding window displays – I’d defy anyone to be able to walk past and not notice or want to go inside.

Repetto has a habit of endlessly surprising passers-by, and recently had an interactive window display!

The true range of gorgeousness is breathtaking and the way that the tutus and shoes are presented is truly Parisien!

And they are forever inventive.  The window displays tick every box – you literally cannot walk past them without wanting to dive in – even if you’ve no interest in ballet.

A new story unfolds each time…

The window displays capture the full essence of ballet; the glamour, the couture, the colour and the feel of the dance.

By displaying these tutus in their full splendour, they reveal the work that goes into making each one and how beautiful they are in their own right.

Even the pointe shoe is given star treatment – this isn’t any old pile of shoes!

And then of course when it comes to Christmas, who can surpass them for heavenliness ?

But my absolute photo of the year goes to this one, of two dreaming tutus.  I love everything about it – from the tutus themseles to the pointe shoes in the background, the colours and textures, the chandelier (I never could resist one!) and the perfection of the whole setting and thought that’s gone into it. I also want to give special mention to the photographer, Kay, who has managed to capture all of this in one memorable shot.  Bravo!
