We are delighted to announce The Covent Garden Dance Company’s stunning summer event at Hatch House, will be on the evening of 9th July, 2011 and will comprise as always of fine dining and world-class performances in one of England’s most beautiful 17th Century walled gardens.  (Covered for the event)

Hatch House Estate, set in the heart of glorious Wiltshire countryside with wide vistas across the valley, is the perfect setting for this our flagship show. Surrounded by inspiring valleys this 300 year old ancestral family home has one of the most beautiful gardens in the South West. At its centre, with its high walls, sumptuous borders and natural amphitheatre is ‘The Walled Garden’ where the evening’s performances will unfold.

Pre-performance champagne is served on the high lawns where you can breathe in the panoramic views before being shown to your tables in The Walled Garden where you will dine among the scented blossoms and summer flora and soak up an unforgettably magical evening.

This year we are honoured to have The Royal Ballet’s brightest star Lauren Cuthbertson performing along with five world class dancers from two more of the world’s greatest companies, The Basel Ballet and English National Ballet. This year we are also extremely proud to announce that we have also commissioned three new works by two wonderful choreographers which will world premiere at Hatch which is hugely exciting.  At the end of the night as always there will be the customary chance to talk to these world class performers and ask them about their lives, loves and aspirations.

As is the nature of our boutique ballets you will be treated to an intimate evening of high culture, sophisticated atmosphere and flawlessly executed performances by some of the greatest the ballet world has to offer.

I can thoroughly recommend the Lamb at Hindon – excellent food and a great location.
