Just as with the recent Faberge Big Egg Hunt, a new collection is springing up all over London but lacks a ballet theme.  We can’t have that !

The K6, or Red Phone Box to you and I – was designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott to commemorate King George V’s Silver Jubilee. We’ve come a long way since then, and the red phone boxes have become icons in their own right. Just look at the stunning photograph of The Royal Ballet’s Yasmine Naghdi taken by Brian Mengini. To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics in 2012, across London’s streets there are currently replicas of the Gilbert Scott phone box, transformed by the imaginations of some of the very best creative minds.

The boxes will be auctioned off to raise money for ChildLine’s 25th anniversary.

Luckily, you can do something about the lack of a ballet theme! You can design your own iconic Red Phone Box by downloading the picture and making your ballet-themed design. If you need some inspiration, just have a look at the gallery of box designs.
