Due to popular demand, Houston Ballet has added another screening of the acclaimed new documentary Houston Ballet: Breaking Boundaries on Monday, February 10 at 6:00 pm at Houston Ballet Center for Dance, 601 Preston Street, 77002.  Tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance by calling Houston Ballet’s box office at 713 227 2787 Monday – Friday between 9 am and 5 pm.

The documentary premiered to sold-out audiences in November 2013 at the Houston Cinema Arts Festival.  Inspiration, determination, diplomatic struggles and color-blind casting: the story of Houston Ballet is a fascinating tale.  And director John Carrithers created a stellar 90-minute documentary featuring many of Houston Ballet’s greatest stars and interviews with four of the company’s five artistic directors that captured the company’s rich five-decade history.
