September 8, 2010… Principal Dancer Aleksandar Antonijevic presents his first photography exhibit, HUMAN or DANCER, a collection of contemporary photographs of the artists of The National Ballet of Canada shot from the unique perspective of a dancer. The exhibit opens on September 30, 2010 at the Pimlico Design Gallery in Toronto.

“I have always been an observer who finds pleasure in the hidden magic of details. My years as a dancer have given me an incredible focus on body, movement and spatial awareness which I want to explore and document in my photography,” says Mr. Antonijevic.

I’m not sure what I think – I love the poses but I’m not sure the title lends itself to the subject. The images are powerful and needs a more dynamic title to convince me of the perspective.
