June 14, 2011… The National Ballet of Canada today announced that tickets for Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland are completely sold out. The National Ballet box office sold over 25,000 tickets for the 13 performance-run, with revenue of over $2.2 million, making Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland the highest grossing main season production in the history of the company.
A limited number of $35 rush and $12 standing room tickets are available at 11:00 am on the day of the performance at the Four Seasons Centre box office, in person only.
Those without tickets can still see excerpts of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at MAD HOT Wonderland, the National Ballet’s annual fundraising gala, on June 21, 2011.
