The BBC has today announced that pop superstars Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow will perform their new duet “Shame” on the brand new series of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One, Saturday 2 October.
Moira Ross, Executive Producer, said: “Having Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow performing on our first live weekend is a fantastic way to kick off this series. With all 14 celebrity couples either dancing a Waltz or a Cha Cha Cha, it’s going to be an exciting start to the show.”
Strictly Come Dancing is available on BBC One and BBC HD with the first live shows airing on Friday 1 October and Saturday 2 October.
The show appears in the Guinness World Records 2010 as the world’s most successful reality television format, and it is estimated that more than a quarter of a billion people watched an international version of the show since its launch.
