Winnipeg, MB – Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet is proud to announce the collaboration with international fashion brand Club Monaco for a stunning 2013/14 season look. The 26 dancers from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company were individually styled by the renowned brand for a fashion-inspired photo shoot that kicks off the RWB’s 2013/14 season.

“There are so many striking similarities between fashion and ballet. The attention to detail, commitment to quality, appreciation of the classic and embracing of the contemporary all combine to create an outstanding final product,” said Larah Luna, Director of Marketing and Communications for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. “We see the collaboration with Club Monaco for the 2013/14 season as a perfect pairing, because not only do the aesthetics of Club Monaco and the RWB complement each other remarkably well, but both organizations continue to be world leaders in their respective industries. The chance to combine these two innovative worlds was a fantastic creative opportunity.”

The highly successful photo shoot brought with it a strong team of creative professionals to capture the beauty of the dancers. Winnipeg’s-own photographer Réjean Brandt was behind the lens capturing the elegance, athleticism, and personality of the dancers. Club Monaco stylists, Sarah Hutchings and Mateo Ramirez, created the individual, fashion-forward looks from the brand’s fall collection, beautifully complementing each dancer’s individual style.
