Changes are afoot as the new season of the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing draws closer, as the producers have announced four of the existing group will be leaving the programme.

Erin Boag, one of the original pros to take part from series one, Aliona Vilani, Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone have each announced that they will not be returning to the show, preferring to concentrate on other work.

Flavia Cacace won last year’s series with gymnast Louis Smith.

The four have been replaced by Iveta Lukosiute, who stood in for Vilani on last year’s Strictly and danced with TV presenter Johnny Ball, Emma Slater, who appeared in musical film Mamma Mia!, Aljaz Skorjanec and Janette Manrara, who is a dancer in TV series Glee will be the other new pro dancers.
