The Halloween themed Strictly results show opens with the Pro dancers dressed in day-glo yellow, with Anton in army green and Erin in a red dress, dancing to the ‘Ghostbusters’ soundtrack.
Looking back over the main show, Len says he was bored with Tina O’Brien’s performance, but Kara Tointon scores the first 10 of the series ! Scott Maslen receives 3 tens, creating “dance magic” according to Len.
And did anyone say that ballroom and Latin dance shoes can be boring ? Check out Tina’s shoes !!
The first couple saved is Michelle & Brendan, closely followed by Scott & Natalie, Ann & Anton, Kara & Artem, Matt & Aliona and the couple finding themselves first in the bottom two are Tina & Jared.
Alesha Dixon says that finding Tina and Jared in the bottom two is a surprise – but they were in the middle of the scoreboard which is always a dangerous place to be.
Bruno Tonioli made the very valid point that the hair and make-up departments have excelled themselves over this show; bringing the spooky, scary stories of Halloween to life vividly.
With a scary Viennese Waltz, the Strictly Pro dancers take to the stage; the ladies wearing dusty cobwebs, the men slightly ‘living dead’ in black tails. Visible aagin here, hair and make-up deserve massive praise for their clever work.
Next to be saved for another week – Patsy & Robin, followed by Jimi & Flavia, Gavin & Katya and Pamela & James. That leaves Felicity & Vincent as the second couple in the bottom two.
Claudia talks to Felicity and Tina. Tina says that perhaps the public didn’t see what she hoped they would, and of course she really doesn’t want to go home. Felicity doesn’t think that she would have done anything differently, having listened to the judges comments.
Alice Cooper rocks the venue; he’s well practiced in the Halloween make-up already and the black leather, skull & crossbones on the cuffs, singing ‘Poison‘ with a cane leave you in no doubt what to expect !
The Strictly dancers are dressed in black and strut around the stage menacingly.
So, when it comes to the bottom two, Felicity & Tina both express disappointment at the possibility of leaving the show.
The ‘moment of truth’ approaches – and it’s Tina who is leaving the show.
Tina is very sad – she has loved the Strictly experience and says that she will carry on dancing for the rest of her life.
