The Autumn 2012 Season at Sadlers Wells

Thin pickings at Sadlers Wells if it’s classical ballet you’re looking for – this Autumn season sees just two ballet companies visiting the theatre.

In September, San Francisco Ballet present three mixed bills : Symphonic Dances by Edwaard Liang, Divertimento No 15 by George Balanchine and Christopher Wheeldon’s Number Nine in programme A, Ghosts by Christopher Wheeldon, Ashley Page’s Guide to Strange Places and Trio by Helgi Tomasson line up for programme B, and the final programme comprises Mark Morris’ Beaux, Yuri Possokhov’s RAkU and Christopher Wheeldon’s Within the Golden Hour.

Birmingham Royal Ballet return to Sadlers Wells with Opposites Attract & Autumn Celebration!

Opposites Attract comprises three modern ballets : Lyric Pieces by Jessica Lang, Take Five by David Bintley and Grösse Fuge by Hans van Manen.

Autumn Celebration! comprises The Grand Tour by Joe Layton, Faster by David Bintley and The Dream by Frederick Ashton.
