The National Ballet of Canada’s Summer Dance Intensive Begins July 3

ballet in canada logoJune 26, 2012… The National Ballet of Canada’s successful Summer Dance Intensive returns for a second year on July 3. The nine-day programme is for students aged 14 to 18 with an intermediate or higher level of ballet training. Students are taught Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop classes by professional artists, including Principal Dancer Xiao Nan Yu, First Soloists Stacey Shiori Minagawa and Jonathan Renna, and Artist-in-Residence Rex Harrington.

Classes take place in the National Ballet’s rehearsal studios at The Walter Carsen Centre. Spaces are still available. Register online via the National Ballet of Canada’s website.

July 3 – 13, 2012 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm

Fee:
$750 per person

The 2011/12 Season is presented by CTV and The Globe and Mail.
